Bookings 

 

For groups of 5 or fewer

Online bookings are taken for groups of up to 5 guests. If your preferred time is unavailable or you would like to book for a group of 6 or more, please contact the restaurant directly on 02 9698 4355 or email us.

For all bookings prior to 7.30pm, tables are only available for a 2-hour seating.

Your reservation is only processed once you have received a confirmation number. A member of our team will be in contact prior to your booking to reconfirm. Should you not re-confirm your booking by 4pm on the day of your booking, we reserve the right to release your table to our waitlist.

Whilst we try to accommodate your seating preference, please understand we cannot facilitate all requests. Some seating is communal or on our fully covered outside terrace area.

It is a requirement that you please inform us if you intend to bring a pram. The layout of our restaurant does not allow for prams.  A pram in the middle of the restaurant is a hazard for other guests as well as our staff, and is not safe for the little one in the pram.  Please understand that we cannot and will not accommodate your booking if you surprise us with a pram at the time of your booking. We do not provide highchairs.

Red Lantern is fully licensed with no BYO available. A 10% surcharge applies on public holidays.

 
 

 

For groups of 6 or more

Groups of 6 or more people are required to select one of the specially designed tasting menus. Instant online reservations are not available for this reason. To make this type of booking, please submit the form, email or call us on 02 9698 4355.

Bookings of 6+ guests are subject to a $300 security deposit - which is fully refunded when you dine with us. The deposit is non-refundable should you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your reservation time.

Our Reservations Office is open 11am-5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

From Saturday to Sunday, our team will endeavour to return your call after 4pm.
