For all bookings

Online bookings are taken for groups of up to 12 guests. If your preferred time is unavailable or you would like to book for a group of 12 or more, please contact the restaurant directly on 02 9698 4355 or email us.

Your reservation is processed once you have received a confirmation email and/or SMS from us.

On the day of your booking, your table will be held for 15 minutes - after which time, should we not hear from you, your reservation will be released to our waitlist.

All 6.00pm and 6.30pm bookings are available for a 2-hour sitting only.

On Sundays, we strictly close at 10.00pm.

A member of our team will be in contact on the day of your booking to reconfirm. Should you not re-confirm your booking by 4pm that day, we reserve the right to release your table to our waitlist.

Whilst we try to accommodate your seating preference, please understand we cannot facilitate all requests. Some seating is communal, or on our fully sheltered front terrace area.

It is a requirement that you please inform us if you intend to bring a pram. The layout of our restaurant does not allow for prams. A pram in the middle of the restaurant is a hazard for other guests as well as our staff, and is not safe for the little one in the pram. Please understand that we cannot, and will not, accommodate your booking if you surprise us with a pram at the time of your booking. We do not provide highchairs.

Red Lantern is fully licensed with no BYO available. A 10% surcharge applies on public holidays.

 
 

For groups of 6 or more

For bookings of 6 or more guests, we require a credit card pre-authorisation to secure the booking. Nothing will be debited from your card when making the booking, however, if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking or don't show up, a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be taken, this is non-refundable.

Groups of 6 or more guests are required to select one of the specially designed tasting menus. You are able to click here to view these. Your tasting menu selection can be made when you did arrive, and all dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for.

Groups of 8 or more guests are required to select one of the specially designed tasting menus. You are able to click here to view these. Your tasting menu selection can be made when you did arrive, and all dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for. Groups of 8 or more guests are subject to a 10% gratuity for our team of friendly professionals.

**If you have made a group booking for 6 or more guests but have not left your credit card details for a pre-authorisation, this reservation will automatically be cancelled in 24 hours.**

 

 
 

Our Reservations Office is open 11am-5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

From Saturday to Sunday, our team will endeavour to return your call after 4pm.
