How to make
a reservation

Reservations are highly recommended.

Requests can be made by phone on 02 9698 4355 or by submitting an online reservation.

For groups of 6 or more, please read the Group Bookings section below.

Online Reservations - Please read and understand:

Online reservations are only taken for tables of up to 5 people.

For all 6.00pm and 6.30pm bookings, tables are only available for a 2-hour seating from the reservation time, and we will require the table back after this time.

Your reservation is only confirmed once you have received a SMS CONFIRMATION NUMBER.

Please call us if your reservation request has not been acknowledged within 48 hours.

Red Lantern is a fully licensed restaurant - No BYO

To make any changes to an online reservation please email us at reservations@redlantern.com.au or phone us directly on 02 9698 4355. No changes to an existing reservation can be made via the online booking system.

All reservations are required to be confirmed 24 hours prior to the date of the booking. We will endeavour to contact you, however if you have not been acknowledged please phone us directly. Red Lantern reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed reservations.

Group Bookings

Conditions apply to tables of 6 more more people. Please read the information below regarding Group Bookings before making reservation.

Tables of 6 or more guests are required to select one of the specially designed tasting menus starting from $69 per person. All dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for.

A $300 deposit is required to secure your booking, which is fully refunded when you dine with us. The deposit is non-refundable should you cancel within 48 hours of your booking.

Why the $300 deposit?
A cancellation fee of $300 is charged in the event that the whole group is cancelled with less than 48-hours notice. Groups who do not show up at all or cancel at the last minute affect our business in a big way. It also deprives those who have been on our waitlist the chance to dine with us.
